Back Home
There’s a new year and new developments. Got past another milestone - 6 months!
These days I’m singing like there’s no tomorrow. My cooing has turned in full-blown concerts, so loud that I feel sorry for the neighbors. (Not really). Even when not crying I sometimes scream as loud as I can, to make sure my lungs work ok.
Favorite pastime: pulling on the socks and then trying to eat them. Followed by squealing in delight :)
Another success! I was able to put my foot in my mouth!
It takes 3 adults to bathe me these days, as I splash around, try to change the water temperature and grab various parts of my body.
After my 4-months vaccines (taken as I turned 5 months), I had a small fever. Mommy didn’t sleep all night :( Fortunately the next day I was all good.
I started turning around by myself. They’re trying to teach me to sit up, but so far I want to stand up instead. Sitting is for babies.
They got me an exersaucer and boy, do I love playing in it!
I pooped in Mommy and Daddy’s bed a few times, until they learned to put a thin blanket underneath me.
One day Mommy came back from work feeling sick, so she stayed home the next day. Grandma wasn’t feeling very well either, so Daddy and I spent the evening together. I even got up at midnight and stayed with Daddy until 1. Then got up again at 4:30 and grandma took me with her.

Speaking of eating, I started eating banana this week. So far, the only difference is an increase in poop volume :) Because of the solid food I started waking up in the middle of the night with a full diaper, so my parents can relive the good old first days. I bet they love it! This lasted for about 2 weeks, then I guess my stomach got used to solids and I managed to sleep throughout the night again.
One Monday evening, after having my milk, I had so much energy. If I could run, I would’ve probably be running around like a madman. I even skipped my afternoon nap. Mommy checked the date from when then milk was and realized she had some coffee that day. So that’s what it was!
